Your Green Thumb’s storefront is located at 99 State Road in Kittery, Maine 03904. We are in a long, beige colored building shared by Kittery Discount Smoke Shop, Sopha’s Massages, and Ron Bet’s Home Improvements. The building itself is located on State Road next to Piscataqua Animal Hospital, and down the street from The Local Kitchen and Tap, and Golden Harvest Produce. We are accessible from exits 1 & 2 off of Interstate 95 North.

No. A physical & active medical card is required in order to legally purchase medical marijuana, regardless of which state your temporary or digital card is registered with. If you arrive with only a temporary card, we will not be able to sell product to you. Per the state of Maine: “Temporary and or digital medical marijuana medical patient cards or certifications are not an acceptable form of identification for the purposes of obtaining marijuana for medical use in Maine.”

All patients are required to present their valid state med card, along with a valid ID or passport. Please note that if you are from New York State or Connecticut, we may require additional or specific paperwork (scroll down for more information).

In order to become a Medical Marijuana Patient in the state of Maine, one must apply for their medical marijuana card through a certified nurse practitioner. The Maine State legislature has removed qualifying conditions from the Maine Medical program. If a nurse practitioner thinks that you, with your ailment, will benefit from medical marijuana, then they are able to prescribe you a card. You must be 18 years or older, or, with a parent or legal guardian, one can be as young as 16. Every patient must bring their Maine ID to their appointment, and depending on the medical provider, supporting medical documents may be additionally required. A patient must follow their respective state’s Medical Marijuana program in order to obtain a medical marijuana card. If you own land in Maine, or are a part-time resident, you qualify to apply for a residential ID card. From there, you are able to apply for the Maine Medical Program.
Out of state patients from Missouri, Oklahoma, Virginia, West Virginia, & Ohio can purchase from cheapmedcards.com.

Per visit, Maine medical patients may purchase a total of 70g. This can be a combination of flower, concentrates and edibles. While this applies to our out-of-state medical patients as well, the State of Maine requires 16 days between full allotment.
